Invio 1.3.0 adds Android TV browsing, subscription-based Up next, and a more capable self-hosted web client.

    • Android TV now has remote-friendly browsing, video details, settings, and library controls. Android remembers playback speed and quality across videos.
    • Choose unwatched subscription videos for Up next on Android, Linux, macOS, and the web. Playing from Android TV details respects this preference.
    • Linux playback has more reliable resume, seeking, buffering, and speed changes. Fullscreen stays in the same window, player controls work better in narrow layouts, and returning to a channel preserves its scroll position.
    • Background downloads can yield bandwidth to Linux playback, and failed archive deletions can be retried.
    • Invio Web can run without WebDAV sync. It adds portable backup import/export, expanded settings, per-category SponsorBlock controls, dislike counts, and subscription avatars.
    • The web client includes browser-based instance challenge recovery. Playback probes preserve browser recovery when native media requests are challenged, browser traffic follows the configured Invidious Tor route, and adaptive playback uses the actual DASH media files.
    • Shared feed and channel loading better handles slow instances and keeps uploads visible until they are positively identified as Shorts.

Downloads include the signed Android APK, signed Linux Flatpak bundles for x86_64 and ARM64, and SHA-256 checksums. The stable Flatpak remote is updated with this release.

The matching server image is git.salix.host/salix/invio-server:v1.3.0 (also tagged latest). macOS changes are available in source; this release does not include a macOS binary.
